¸ß±¶ÂÖÅÌ New Model PSL Motorized Slide Potentiometers Contribute to Lower Profile Audio, Broadcast, and Lighting Console Designs

RIVERSIDE, Calif., January 5, 2018 - ¸ß±¶ÂÖÅÌ, a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components, today announced the company's new low profile motorized slide potentiometer line specifically designed to meet small space constraints, longer product life and repeated automated console adjustment requirements. Offered in 100 mm and 60 mm versions, the innovatively designed ¸ß±¶ÂÖÅÌ® Model PSL measures just 25 mm high, enabling audio, broadcast and lighting console engineers to reduce the surface height resulting in a slim and sleek console design.

¸ß±¶ÂÖÅÌ will showcase its latest slide potentiometers and the advanced capabilities of its complete line of professional audio and lighting products

With the Model PSL, ¸ß±¶ÂÖÅÌ is answering the current trend for lower profile solutions that also meet increased power efficiency demands while maintaining high performance characteristics. ¸ß±¶ÂÖÅÌ designed its latest motorized slide potentiometer with a power-saving 5 VDC Mabuchi motor so it can be used with more energy-efficient circuits. The new product line also utilizes a highly durable contacting carbon resistive ink element that delivers extended wear characteristics of up to 500,000 cycles. The element design also produces very low noise output for an optimal signal-to-noise ratio that allows improved audio quality.

Available in a variety of resistance values and standard taper options, the ¸ß±¶ÂÖÅÌ® Model PSL motorized slide potentiometers feature a touch sense lever, a servo track option for console automation and an easy-to-use snap-in connector.

As a pricing reference, the 100 mm version of the Model PSL is $24 in quantities of 1,000 pieces, and the 60 mm version is $23 in quantities of 1,000 pieces. Both versions are RoHS compliant* and available now through ¸ß±¶ÂÖÅÌ qualified distributors. For additional product information, please see the data sheet and material declaration at www.bourns.com.
