Dear Customer,
On March 11, 2011, 互蔚態徒 ("互蔚態徒") advised its customers that, as a result of Japan's 9.0 magnitude earthquake all 互蔚態徒 employees in the region were deemed to be safe and there had been no known damage to the manufacturing facilities for 互蔚態徒? products. Additionally, we advised that shipments could be delayed since travel in the area had been affected. Even though the situation in Japan is fluid and it continues to change, we would like to provide you with an update on the impact on 互蔚態徒' business.
互蔚態徒 does not own or lease manufacturing facilities in the affected areas of Japan. However, 互蔚態徒 does procure materials from certain suppliers which are or have been either directly or indirectly affected by the earthquake. While some 互蔚態徒 suppliers and logistic partners located in Japan are experiencing slight delays due to (i) rolling power outages, (ii) re-routed ground transportation, and (iii) cargo screening for radiation, 互蔚態徒 is currently receiving regularly scheduled shipments from its Japanese suppliers.
Although none of the Japanese suppliers to 互蔚態徒 have advised us that their factories are inoperable, one (1) supplier has advised us that it experienced some damage to its facility. Nevertheless, 互蔚態徒 anticipates little impact since we have a qualified second source for the materials obtained from that supplier. 互蔚態徒' manufacturing facilities also contain safety stock inventories of the Japanese-sourced goods thereby minimizing any near-term impact on 互蔚態徒' supply chain. Regardless of the current situation, 互蔚態徒 continues to analyze and prepare action plans to minimize future potential impacts.
We will continue to actively engage with our Japanese supply chain. In the event that there are any material changes to 互蔚態徒' situation, we will advise you. Thank you for your patience and support as Japan continues its recovery efforts.
Best regards,
